How to Manage Location Hours with the Manage Hours tool
Manage regular and holiday hours, or add temporarily modified hours in bulk using an easy-to-use grid-based tool.

Bullseye’s Manage Hours tool allows you to manage all of your location’s hours in one place, in bulk, using an easy-to-use grid interface. Update Regular and Holiday hours, or create temporary schedules of modified hours for special events. To begin, enable the Manage Hours module from Settings > Setup > Modules. Once the module is enabled, navigate to Manage Locations, then select Manage Hours from the sub-menu.
There are 3 kinds of hours that you can manage - Regular Hours, Modified Hours, and Holiday Hours. Each type of hours template is unique, but they all have several things in common. Each page allows you to filter locations using the search box(1), update the number of locations shown on a page(2), navigate between templates(3), hide and unhide columns(4), sort columns(5), and update hours for locations one-at-a-time(6) or in bulk(7).
Regular Hours
Regular hours are the hours that your locations are regularly open and available. These are the hours that get displayed on results unless there is a temporary or holiday schedule in effect. There are 2 ways to update Regular hours - one location at a time or using the bulk editor. Select the Regular Hours template, and follow these steps to update:
Update the regular hours for a single location
- To change the existing hours for a single store on any particular day, update the hours on the row for that store, in the column for the day.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
- To change the timezone for one store, select it using the checkbox to the left of the location, then update the timezone using the drop-down in the bulk editor, then click Apply.
Update the regular hours for Multiple Locations
- To update multiple stores with the same hours and/or timezone, check the Select checkboxes for a number of stores in your location list.
- Update the timezone and/or hours for each day in the bulk editor, and click the Apply link in each column to apply changes to all selected stores.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
When you’re done updating hours click Save. The location’s business hours will be updated immediately.
Modified Hours
Modified Hours are typically temporary schedules that take effect due to things like vacations, renovations, events, or the days around holidays. There is also a way to make modified hours “permanent” to enact a change to hours well ahead of time that will remain in effect until a new schedule is created. Modified Hours schedules will override Regular Hours while they are in effect, and will be displayed on results while they are in effect. Select the Modified Hours template, and follow these steps to update:
Add a Modified Hours Schedule for a Single Store
- Enable a store that should adopt the modified schedule in lieu of regular hours by checking the enable checkbox on the same row as the store.
- To change the existing schedule for a single store, update the start and end date for the modified schedule to be in effect, then update the hours in the columns for the days that the schedule is in effect.
- To permanently change the hours for a store, check the make permanent checkbox when editing the end date.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
Add a Modified Hours Schedule for Multiple Stores
- Enable stores that should adopt the modified schedule in lieu of regular hours by checking the Enabled checkbox on locations one at a time, or use the Select All checkbox to select all locations, then use the Enable All checkbox and Apply link to enable all locations at once.
- Check the Select checkboxes to the left for a number of stores in your location list that should use the new schedule.
- In the bulk editor, update the start and end date for the modified schedule to be in effect, then update the hours for each, and click the Apply link in each column to apply changes to all selected stores.
- To permanently change the hours for a store, check the make permanent checkbox when editing the end date.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
When you’ve finished updating hours click Save. Modified schedules are processed and update business hours nightly.
Holiday Hours
Holiday Hours are a little different, as they’re not based on a week-long schedule, and they are limited to the selected country’s holidays. For that reason, when you select the Holiday Hours template, you must filter locations by Country using the search box. Once a country is selected, select the holidays to update from the drop-down list of upcoming holidays:

- To update the holiday hours for a single store on any particular day, update the hours on the row for that store, in the column for the holiday.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
Add or Update Holiday Hours for Multiple Stores
- To update multiple stores with the same hours, check the Select checkboxes for a number of stores in your location list.
- Update the hours for each holiday in the bulk editor, and click the Apply link in each column to apply changes to all selected stores.
- To show the store as closed, choose Closed from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours. This will disable the Open and Close Time text boxes
- To show the store as open for 24 hours, choose 24 Hours from the drop-down list next to that day’s hours.
When you’re done updating hours click Save. The location’s business hours will be updated immediately.
Exclude Locations from Update by the Manage Hours tool
You can configure your account to block locations from being updated via the Manage Hours tool. Navigate to Settings > Setup > Location Options, and select the "Allow locations to be blocked from updates via Manage Hours" checkbox.
Select this option to expose a "Do not update location via Manage Hours page" checkbox on locations. When enabled, this location can not be edited on the Manage Hours page.
