Customize Email Themes

Create a consistent, branded look for automated Bullseye emails with Email Themes.

Required: Any paid subscription

Bullseye includes a number of automated emails to facilitate workflows, including Lead Manager emails, Event Registration emails, and more. Use Email Themes to give these emails consistent layout, fonts, colors, and images (e.g., your logo).

Note that currently Bullseye only allows one default theme for all emails. This article explains how to customize the default theme.

1. Open the Default Theme

  • Click on Settings > Notifications in the Bullseye admin menu at the top right of the admin interface.

  • Optional: click the Previewink next to the default theme to see the existing theme with sample content.
  • Click the Editlink next to the default theme.

2. Modify Basic Options (optional)

By default, your theme will be set to use the basic theme editor. You can quickly and easily modify the theme by changing the font selection and background color and uploading your own logo. (Note that uploading a logo will automatically remove any existing logo.)

  • Click the Save button to save your changes, or click Cancel to exit the editor.
  • Click the Preview button to preview your changes with sample content. You must save first in order to see your changes.
  • When you are satisfied with your changes, click Save and Close.

3. Use the Advanced Editor (optional)

If you wish to customize your theme beyond the basic options, use the Advanced Editor

  • Click the Advancedtab.
  • Click the checkbox for "Enable Advanced Theme Editor." Note that if this checkbox is marked, the theme will override any settings you configured in the basic editor. Only the HTML in the advanced editor will be applied to your emails.
  • Modify the HTML header and footer. By default, these fields will be pre-populated with HTML based on the basic default theme, but you can add any HTML you choose. When each automated email is rendered, the content of the email will be inserted after the last line of code in the header and before the first line of code in the footer.
  • Click the Save button to save your changes, or click Cancel to exit the editor.
  • Click the Preview button to preview your changes with sample content. You must save first in order to see your changes.
  • When you are satisfied with your changes, click Save and Close.
