Requirements: Web Premium Subscription
With a premium subscription, You can configure your interfaces to send captured data from the Searches By Locations Report to Google Analytics. Data from Bullseye is available in Google Analytics on the Content>All Pages report, and the Events reports. Data tracked in Google Analytics includes the following:
Autosearch (on page load)
Manual search (clicking search button, or other events that trigger search)
Each Location returned in a search
More info clicked
Location in results clicked
Landing page email clicked
Landing page website clicked
Landing page contact clicked
The Events report shows the metrics for any Events that have occurred during the currently selected timeframe:
To link your interface you will need to get the Google Analytics ID that comes with your Google Analytics account. The Google Tracking ID is a string like UA-000000-2. To find the tracking ID:
Sign in to your Analytics account.
Select an account from the menu in the ACCOUNT column.
Select a property from the menu in the PROPERTY column.
Under PROPERTY, click Tracking Info > Tracking Code.
Your tracking ID is displayed at the top of the page:
Copy the Tracking ID exactly as it is in Google Analytics, including the UA and any dashes.
Next, log in to your Bullseye account, and navigate to the Interfaces page. Create or edit and interface.You will need to enter the code along with the Host URL on the General tab of the Options page of the interface builder:
Google Analytics Code: Paste or enter the code provided by your Google Analytics account, include UA and any dashes.
Host URL: Enter the exact URL of the site where the interface is going to be IFramed. The complete URL must be provided including "http/https".
If you are enabling Google Analytics for the first time, you will need to re-implement the Bullseye Iframe code on your site. You can find the updated code in the Publish tab in the interface builder. Just copy the code and paste into your website.
