Changing a User's Password

How to Change a User's Password

Requirements: Available in All Subscriptions

To keep login information secure, Administrators cannot directly change a user's password. Administrators can direct users to change their password through the login page. Users can click on the Forgot Password link on our login page and receive an email to change the password, or they can change the password while logged in to Bullseye when they view Users page.

In the login page, users select the Forgot Password link.

Users may enter their email address (Bullseye username) and select Submit. Upon selecting submit they will see a message indicating that an email has been sent to the specified email address with instructions on how to reset the password.

They will receive the email below and can click on the Reset Password link.

*Note: Account admins can customize the message and styling of this email. See this article to learn how.*

The reset password link will open up a new window where they can change the password. They enter a new password and password confirmation and select Reset Password.

To change the password while logged in to Bullseye, users can click on User Info located in the top right corner of the page and then click Edit.

Next, they can check the "Change Your Password" checkbox. This will make the additional fields below appear:

Password: Enter the current password.

New Password: Enter the new password.

Confirm New Password: Re-enter the new password for confirmation.
