Suppress the Zip/Postal Code Requirement when Adding Locations

By default, Bullseye requires the Zip/Postal Code to be included on locations in most countries.  If you are unable to include the Postal Code in your data, we have the ability to turn off this requirement in the Admin and CSV, and/or on the XML upload.  Note that this may cause the plotting of the locations to be less accurate, so it is generally preferable to include Postal Codes.

To remove the requirement, login to your account and go to Settings>Set Up. Then go to the Options Tab.  You will see the screen below:

Uncheck the options "Validate postal codes on Location Add/Edit" and “Validate postal codes on XML import” and you will be able to add locations without including Postal Codes through the admin form and the CSV or XML upload.
