User Types

For Store Locator accounts, there are 3 applicable user types.  All user accounts consist of an email address (also used as a username) and a password, for login purposes.

Client Admin-This user type is created by a Bullseye Solutions Group administrator when your subscription is created.  It is a single administrator user that has full access to your subscription account functionality.  Privileges include maintaining your locations, viewing reports, and configuring your locator page.  Client Admin users can also create other users to access the Bullseye application.

Client User-This user type has all the privileges Client Admin users have, except they cannot create other client users.  Otherwise they have full access and can participate in all maintenance activities that Client Admins take care of. They can also create service users.

Location Admin-This user type is optionally created by a Client Admin or Client User when they upload locations in a csv file or when adding a location in the Bullseye Add Location form.  Once created, a Location Admin is able to login to Bullseye to maintain their location information that you enable. Location User-This user type has access to the same functionality as the Location Admin, except they are not able to add other location users. In order to set up this user type, you must first have a location entered in Bullseye.  See the instructions below for how to enter this user type.

How To Add a User

To add a new user, go to Users in the left navigation. Then select Add User:

You will be taken to the Add User page which will allow you to select a user type, and create a username and password as in the example below:

In this example, we have chosen to enter a Location User which requires these steps:

  • Select Location User in the drop down
  • Get a list of locations, select the location that requires the Location User.
  • Enter the Credentials of the Location User.
  • Select Save.

Note that the User Type Client User is also entered through the Users section like a Location User, but without the step of assigning to a location.  You can simply enter the credentials from the Add User page.

How to Reset a User's Password

To reset a user's password, click on the Users tab on the left navigation.  You will see a list of users.  Simply locate the correct user, and select Change Password.  You will be prompted to confirm that you want to reset the password.  Select Change Password and a new password will be emailed to the selected user. Users can change their own password when they login to Bullseye as well.
